Monday Progress Report: Of Angels and Uniformed Men
Well, well, it’s been a while since our latest Monday encounter and I’ve been a busy girl! First off, I am very proud to announce I have signed contracts with Wayward Ink Publishing for brother.ly and a short story to be featured in their next anthology, Men in Uniform. Yay, they liked them and accepted them! <Insert yet another happy dance here>
After a small break before the UK GLBT Meet (and shortly after), I went back to writing. I am working furiously on Angel’s Feather, my dark science fiction story. It’s going pretty great and I am pretty sure it will be done by the end of the week. Then it’s submission time for this one as well.
I am currently working for the second part, Descent, and unfortunately I cannot share an excerpt with you. It would give away what happens in part one, and I really don’t want that 😀 Anyway, you can still read the excerpt from last time here.
As I said, I assume I will be done with Angel’s Feather this week. What follows is another short and, depending on how much time I’ve got till October 1st, a little work on Sky & Storm, my lovely Warriors of Vis, or jumping straight into book three of the Bad Blood trilogy. The Fall of Darkness is partially written (about one third and I think the most difficult part of this final book), but I want to dedicate the entire month of October to writing and edits so that you can have it all ready by the end of November.
Wish me luck! Oh, and I am back to posting videos. You can check out my latest one here. I will try, as always, to post every Friday. Let’s hope I manage!
